About the Book
“Dial M for Memories" was sparked by names and telephone numbers found in old personal and business phone books which the author had saved and which stimulated him to write about some of the people and organizations that were meaningful to him in his lifetime and, in a sense, representative of the so-called Greatest Generation of which he was part. You will find an assortment of vignettes about people from all walks of life: presidents, government officials, journalists, business executives, classmates and just plain everyday friends and relatives. Many of his memories are illuminating!
