About the Author
Maria Carmen Martins was born in the small village, Agua da Pau, Acores, in Portugal. She moved at the age of three with her parents and two siblings, Maria Teresa and Luis. She is living in Oliver, British Columbia with her three lovely children Sofia, Chase, and Joey. She has always enjoyed writing and telling stories to her own children and her students at school.
