About the Book

The Book of Mormon was definately inspired by an angel. But the founder of Mormonism, Joseph Smith Jr., has given the religion its intrigue. He added to the book the words "the Son of" several times to favor his philosophy of polygamy; which was diabolically opposed to the Book of Mormon teachings. As a result, Joseph's prophetic words became stronger than the words in the Book of Mormon. He in turn led his church into cultism and isolation. The intreigue of Mormonism is in the fact that it has survived. They have had to change dramatically to social presures. They are still easily identified as differemt than Christian as some of their cultish ideas remain, but today they call themselves "Christian". In fact, they are regarded as leaders the way they display their actions. Today they display what the Book of Mormon originally intended. That was to undermine Christianity and to make them to appear authentic. Like a restored church simuliar to the original one that had Apostles. The intrigue of Mormon is that they are doing this while at the same time are promising each member they can become a seperate god.
