About the Book

Soul is a 15 year old girl who lives on an island with her little brother. Her life is far from perfect, but they both try to make the best of it. It looks like things are going to get better when the mayor, of all people, offers them a helping hand, that is before Soul is whisked away to another world! Even though this was a complete accident, the people in the other world want her help and many times she has to do just that. She is asked or forced into rescuing friends, catching bad guys and staying sane. Not to mention that there was another person from her island who also got stuck in there with her, but they got separated. Even with all this excitement, Soul only ever whishes to go home to her island again. The problem remains, will she be able return in one piece?

About the Author

Jazmin Y. Acosta is very passionate about her stories, so much so that she had decided to become an author from the impressionable age of 8 years old. Being a visual person, she also likes to express these stories in drawings as well. When it comes to writing stories, Jazmin enjoys to write about adventure stories more than any other genre. That’s because they seem to have a little bit of everything in it. She enjoys describing how the characters feel in certain situations and aims to have the readers ponder on how they might or might not deal with the same event. In the future, she will be working on different types of genres as well as her drawings and writing skills. Jazmin hopes to keep sharing her stories in as many ways as possible, maybe someday soon it will be a comic, video game, movies or maybe even tv shows!
