About the Author

Alicia Minjarez Ramírez, escritora, poetisa mexicana, traductora, cantante, locutora de radio y televisión. Nació en Tijuana Baja California, México. Estudió una Maestría en Inteligencia artificial y una Maestría en Ciencias de la Computación en la Universidad de Montpellier II, en Montpellier, Francia. Voluntaria en la Copa Mundial de Fútbol, Francia 1998 en Informática y Traducción: Inglés - Francés - Español. Sus poemas han sido traducidos al Inglés, Camerunés, árabe, portugués y francés. Han sido leídos en recitales poéticos en varios países del mundo. Sus traducciones han sido publicadas en revistas y periódicos en Londres, Italia, Canadá y Hazaristán. Galardonada con una mención especial en el Premio Internacional de Poesía Nosside, Italia 2015. Sus poemas fueron publicados en el libro: Literatura Mundial del siglo XXI en Nueva Delhi, India 2015. Alicia Minjarez Ramírez is a Mexican poet, translator, singer, broadcast locution Radio and TV. She was born in Tijuana Baja California, Mexico. She studied a Master Degree in Artificial Intelligence and a Master Degree in Computer Science at the University of Montpellier II, at Montpellier, France. Volunteer at the Football World Cup France 1998, in TIC´S and Translation: English - French - Spanish. Her poems have been translated into English, Cameroonian, Arabic, Portuguese and French. Have had read in International Poetry Recitals in several countries around the world, and transmitted in National and International Radio programs. Her translations were published in magazines and newspapers in London, Italy, Canada and Hazaristan. Awarded with a special mention on the Nosside World Poetry Prize, Italy 2015. Her poems were published in the XXI Century World Literature Book at New Delhi India, 2015
