Letters that were found in a small cedar chest Mom saved that Dad wrote when he was in WWII. From 1942-1946 these letters tell interesting war stories & facts and a love story like no other. Dad wrote to Mom every moment that he could. Every breath & every step he took was for her. Dad was a "trailblazer" and fought on the front line in France and Germany. He was a radio man and was in charge of managing the location of his troop. This story will make you laugh and certainly make you cry. It is a truly amazing story!

About the Author

I'm the youngest of five children. Growing up in a home that was filled with love. God and family was the most important. I was compelled to write this story after my Mom passed in 2010. The little cedar chest was found with all the letters Dad wrote during WWII. I knew it contained a story that I just had to tell. What I didn't know is how it would change my life. I thank God for giving me the strength and fortitude to finish this book. It has been a blessing to know my parents and their story. It makes me appreciate this great country that Dad fought for and how important it is to live each day like it is the last.
