About the Book

This book is the fruit of a lifetime of ministry. It is both encouraging and wise, and is always rooted in Scripture, which the author unpacks relevantly and insightfully. This is more than a collection of sermons. It gives plenty of clues of what it means to live life well. Read it for encouragement, for guidance and for growth. It will strengthen your faith, challenge you to deepen your relationship with the Spirit and invite you to live in the light of the resurrection. While the author is convinced that ‘the best is yet to be’, he unpacks a practical faith rooted in the realities of everyday life. Don’t leave this book on the shelf. Read it. -Dr Brian Harris, Principal, Vose Seminary, Perth, Australia

Customer Reviews

"This book is an inspiration to readers in the church and the pathways of daily life.
I have known Linton as an outstanding student, and as a pastor and preacher.
In these pages he has written with conviction and frankness. His use of language is exemplary: his style makes reading enjoyable.
In the section ?Why Believe?? he informs, challenges and reassures.
The last two sections, ?Law and Grace? and ?The Best is yet to be? provide the personal consolation and confidence missing from many a lectern (fewer pulpits today).
The ?Divine Help? section provides remarkably clear teaching on the Holy Spirit. It is welcome, authoritative and helpful for believers.
Linton comes through as a strong Christian leader and teacher with a special love for his family, his many congregations, and for those seeking Christian assurance.
