About the Book

No one excels in everything they do. Carrie finds that out very quickly. When she realizes that in many ways she cannot keep up with the other children in her class, it takes the eyes of her mother to show her how she sparkles in her own way.

About the Author

Shelby Knobloch is a senior in high school currently residing in central Illinois. Growing up, Shelby struggled with Attention Deficit Disorder and realized at a young age that she did not perform as well academically as many of her peers. When she was given a sketch pad and a pencil, she found out that she had a talent that not everyone could master. As soon as she recognized how she sparkled, she decided to publish a book that would help children understand that everyone is gifted in their own way.
