About the Book

The Red Words in the Blue Mind is a poetry book with recordings of either live events of my life or someone that I might have known. In a world of politics, romance, war, social events, religion or just the successes or failures of one’s life the read word is looking to relate and reach different individuals on different levels. These words are meant to meet the poet’s poet to their door come into their lives and inspire and motivate. The motivation is to blow your mind in the realm of poetry, Words have no color but if they did then they should be red like the words spoke in the bible by Jesus.

About the Author

Born in Williamston N.C, in 1976 he begin his journey as a country boy that worked in the tobacco fields and chicken factories of Carolina gaining different experiences and looking for the deeper meaning of life. Raised by mother Gloria Stokes and Grandmother and Grandfather William Henry and Ethel Thomas and my biggest supporter my wife Stacy. Incarceration was the changing moment after seeing so many lives never being able to rejoin society and him having a second chance. So for Four years constant writing down every event and recording the things that may have helped him get there or how to avoid making the same mistake was the new mission in life. He currently resides in Newport News Virginia.
