This book is the story of a young man leaving college for summer vacation. He heads home to see his mom, his father passed awat a couple of years before. He is going to school at Pittsburgh University in Pennsylvania. His mother lives in Tipton, Missouri on the farm. He trip back there is filled with many shocking surprises. This is a story of true love, but things that are really scary sometimes. A very touching story for basically eight graders and above. It tells of how true love along with the fears in life make for a beautiful love story.

This book starts near the east coast, and ends in the mid-west. It’s a love story-thriller about Two people who meet under very different circumstances. A scary situation in the beginning, that becomes a story of true love. There are some very scary times during their life. Facing the real problems and enjoying the good times, always working together in love. This story is fiction, but could be anyone of us in reality. The good times, and bad times in the lives of a young man and woman, their family and some close friends
About the Author
My name is George Dennis Winters, named after my maternal grandfather. I am the second son of Richard C. Winters and Helen Elizabeth (Brand) Winters. I was born in Eldon, Missouri, in the year of 1944. My older brother Richard Wesly, was a soldier in Viet Nam and has since died from health problems brought on by Agent Orange. I was also in the Army during the Viet Nam war, done basic in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, then came to California for A.I.T at Fort Ord. I met my wife while at Fort Ord. We were married in December of 1967, moved to San Jose after I served my time of duty. We have four children and ten grandchildren. I worked for Dap Inc. for 27 years as a color mixer operator and Later as a shipping receiving, bill of lading clerk. After the company closed its San Jose plant in 1999, I Took some time off before going to work for Home Depot later that year. I worked for them for 15 years , before retiring in June of 2014. I have out some other books, the first was Reality Poetry, things to ponder, the second was Angel in Disguise, a fiction western, based in Jasper Creek, Wyoming. Third book is Just memories, fifty poems about memories of my life and things other people have related to me. I love writing and hope to continue for many years to come. I also love woodworking, especially using the Coping saw and band saw. I took mechanics in college, and done a home course in mechanics with A.S.A, back in the 70’s. I ran a small engine repair shop out of my garage for several years. My wife was a nurse for over thirty years, she has retired and now baby sits a little girl that we love very much.
