About the Book

Once there was a loving young couple. They loved each other from when they were in their teens. So one day, the enemy crept in and tore them apart, and for twenty-four years, they did not see or talk to each other, but they only heard about one another. Whenever Ann went to Kingston, she would stop in Spanish Town where Jake’s family lived and asked about him. But they would tell her that he doesn’t live there anymore. And that he is now living in the country area of St. Catherine. Whenever Ann leaved, they would send him a message that Ann passed by and was asking for him. Did you know that faith can bring back two people together? Yes, that is so true.

About the Author

Elet M. Grant was born in Goodintent, Manchester, Jamaica in April 1958. She spent most of her life in St. Ann, Jamaica, where she attended Evening Class. Which she gained three subjects; they were Mathematics, English and History. She then, attended a private school, Prince Commercial in the morning and worked at a snack counter in the evening. At the private school she was the top of her class. At the private school she studied Shorthand and Typewriting & Office Practise. She could write shorthand at 120 words in one minute and type at 60 words in one minute. She finished 8 pages of shorthand in one day. She always got 98% or 99% in her work. She asked the teacher why she never got 100% and she told her that she gave her 100% she would stop working as hard. She also taught at a basic school for 3 months and at Prince Commercial her teacher took a break and she taught the Typewriting class for 8 months. She achieved her credit in shorthand and typewriting. Whenever she had some spare time, she would write poems. She wrote her first poem in 1980, it was called Thoughts of the Heart. After thinking over her life, she decided to write this book, The Love Triangle of Jake and Ann. She went to Canada in 1981 and then returned in 1982 with a child. She had her first child in 1983, got married in 1986, and then got divorced in 1989. She never married again. She had her second child in 1990 and her third and final child in 1997. She had two daughters and one son who are all seven years apart. She returned in 03/21/13 and then decided to publish her book.
