About the Book

I Marlice Blount(Marcy),was born to George Blount 2 and to the late Betty Jean BaCote. I am one of six siblings. Words Of Encouragement 2 “It Ain’t Over Until God Has The Last Say”, is my second book. I use Words Of Encouragement for my title, because while reading my poems to others, they let me know that it helped them go through their daily lives. This book is not only for others, it is for me as well. In my my day to day struggles, after being in a coma, years later had to be paralyzed, ant the surgeries I’ve had and still have to endure I realize, the only one I had to call on, when the Doctors gave up on me, my famiy not knowing what to do, and also growing up in church, all I had to do was put my faith and trust in God. So these wrds are mainly for me, and to share with others, to let them know, that God is keeping me and He can in will keep them too. In this book, Words Of Encouragemen 2 It Ain’t Over Until God Has The Last Say, I’m also sharing the poems my family wrote, and scriptures from the KJB to let everyone know, that it is a wonderful book and it will help them go through anything. I would like for anyone who reads this book, know that all things are possible if they put their trust in God. He wouldn’t put too much on you then you can’t bare. As I read these poems and others that I’ve written, I want people to feel what I felt. It was God who gave me these words, I’m just writing them down. He encourages us all, I’m just glad He used me to write these spiritual poems to encourage others as well as myself. Thank You, Marlice Blount

About the Author

I want to again thank God for His grace and mercy because these words come from Him. I’m just a vessel He uses. I am so grateful for that because I can say He has been there for me. In 1992, I became ill. I had five surgeries and was in a coma from February until April that year, and even the doctors gave up on me, but by hearing the prayers from my family and friends, God spared my life. In 2006, I became sick from my previous surgeries and had three more surgeries in 2007 and was paralyzed at that time. I had two more surgeries in 2009, and now it is 2012, and I still have two more surgeries to go. During those surgeries, I had complications, but it didn’t stop God. He is the reason I’m here today, and that’s why I write. I want you to hold on to God’s unchanging hands, and He will be there for you just like He was and still is there for me today. If there’s anything that I can say to you, it is to never give up on God, and whatever you go through, just keep the faith and believe because God will never fail. Thank you and God bless.
