Talbert Jones is well-known for his success at bringing in wanted men. He has a reputation of being the best at his trade, which is bounty hunting. He is known by both the criminal element and the law enforcement people. He doesn’t know who sent for him or why he was sent for, but he could not resist the invitation. He was told where to go and what to do until he was contacted again. All he knew was to stop at a church and wait to be contacted.

About the Author

Mr. Lumpkins is a native of Knoxville, Tennessee, and loves the Great Smoky Mountains. He was born in Kentucky, and served twenty-four years in the U.S. Air force. After retiring from the military, he was employed by a large retail company in Orlando, Florida for twenty years. Tiring of having his nose to the grindstone, he moved to Tennessee for a more relaxed lifestyle. He is an avid reader of history, especially historical novels about the civil war. He is happily married and enjoys life with his wife and children in the Smoky Mountains.
