The Color Box is an innovative and creative experience to help children learn the colors that surround them every day. The idea is to help children explore the world around them by visualizing the colors of nature, the seasons, people, places, and things. The Color Box is a fun and unique way for children to learn because the colors in the book come to life and spark the reader’s imagination. About the Author

Ava Cheatem, a former childcare provider, has been involved in early childhood development for years. She has owned and operated her own daycare center, has been a food and nutrition specialist for the public school system, and has been a children’s music instructor. It is from these experiences that she gained her passion for children and writing about things that shape and affect their lives. She was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, but now resides in Des Moines, Iowa, with her husband and blended family of nine children. This is her first children’s book.
