About the Book

Hope is All I Have is a series of short stories that I wanted to write, minus the explicit adult context and language. This is only one of a series of books I intend to publish. At present, I have over two hundred short stories in various degrees of completion. I hope to have published the first book in the series by February 26, 2015, with many more to follow.

About the Author

I write under the pen name Dann Joseph (my daughters’ initials and last name). I am a single parent, and my child has been on this journey to publish my stories from the beginning since the first time she listened to me read one to her as a bedtime story. I have served in the US military. I am presently in college, and I will graduate soon. My daughter is the reason why I went back to school. That happened when it became harder each year to help her with her homework while in grade school and high school. She is now in her second year of college. I have had several careers. My personal goal is to be a successful writer. I also hope to accomplish my goal of becoming a criminal psychologist. I was born in the South but raised in the North, and I have traveled extensively while on active duty in the military.
