About the Book

In this third book of the trilogy, the seven former high school classmates with special powers join Colonels Morris and Stevens in a bold mission to rescue two kidnapped boys. During the daring rescue attempt, Colonel Morris’s team will confront drug lord Subcomandante Marcos Zapata, known as El Bestia (the beast), and his men in an action-packed thriller that takes place in Mexico and the United States.

About the Author

Charles F. Lee received his BA degree from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. He subsequently obtained his master’s degree in mass communications from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Following his military service, he spent fourteen years in various technical and executive positions with several contractors of the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC), moving from basic research to test site activities in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is a retired Department of Defense (DOD) employee. He is the author of the book The Adventures of Ickle, Packy, Pickle and Gooch, the trilogy The Threat from Within, its sequel The Threat from Within Defeated, and El Bestia (The Beast).
