About the Author

Claudia Scritchfield nació en Colombia y vive en Estados Unidos desde hace 17 años. Estudió Literatura (1980-1982) con la maestra Marta Sánchez en el Colegio Femenino Eudes de Bogotá. Asistió a universidades en Colombia como la Central, la Universidad de los Andes y la Universidad del Magdalena (1999) en calidad de observadora asistente. Se graduó en Colorado Mesa University (2012) en Literatura y Artes y en la actualidad trabaja con Mesa County de Colorado como maestra substituta de español y de voluntaria con el Migrant Community Center, de Palisade, Colorado. Claudia Scritchfield was born in Colombia and has lived in the United States for 17 years. She studied literature at the Eudes Feminine Institute in 1980-1982 in Bogotá with Marta Sánchez. Claudia also attended several universities in Colombia such as the Central University, the University of the Andes, and attended as an assistant at University of Magdalena in 1997. She graduated from Colorado Mesa University in Literature and Arts 2012 and currently works with Mesa County School District of Colorado as a substitute Spanish teacher and she volunteers in the Migrant Community Center in Palisade CO.
