About the Book

Alaska moose friends Mack and Maddie met and talked about how they wished for a different life other than the one in which they were living. They discussed an idea to trade places and live in the other’s home for a few months. Each has hopes and dreams for a different, more exciting life than the one in which they had been living. Maddie and Mack learn some new lessons while experiencing the life of a dream and a little more about themselves.

About the Author

Michelle was born and raised in Alaska. She is a retired teacher who taught several different grade levels. Never growing tired of seeing moose in the area where she grew up, Michelle decided to write a children’s book about these interesting, majestic, and beautiful animals. She lives in Anchorage, Alaska, and enjoys spending time with her family and special granddaughter, Avery.
