About the Author

Tracy has always loved reading children’s books. As a child, she loved pretending she was the characters in the books she read. She often wondered how she would solve the problems the characters faced in the stories. Now Tracy has been given a chance to share her story with you. Tracy is a native of Washington, DC. She now resides in Maryland. She has been teaching for over twenty years in the public school system. While being a classroom teacher has always given Tracy great joy, she decided to begin a new chapter in her career. She is now a focus teacher that helps primary and intermediate students in their reading and mathematics skills. Tracy is married and has two sons. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
