About the Book

“I Fought Like A Girl, And I Won!” is my memoir book of what I encountered having breast cancer. My main goal is to share my journey with other women who have battled cancer, or to be support to women who are newly diagnosed. You can be control of breast cancer; don’t let it be in control of you! My story tells of my hope, faith, and courage. Being a single mom to three children is a challenge; but being a single mom to three children and kicking cancer’s butt takes determination!

About the Author

I am 36 years old, and live in Killeen Texas with my three children. Anastazija 15, Marcos 10, and Caesar 7. My hometown is Philadelphia, PA. I attended the Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA from 1989-1996. I have been working part-time for the Killeen Independent School District as a crossing guard since September 17, 2012. My daughter Anastazija is my illustrator for my memoir. She is a self taught artist, with big asperations for the future. She is a sophomore at Shoemaker High School in Killeen. Go Grey Wolves!
