About the Book

The Day before Surgery explains emotions felt by young patients undergoing a hospital visit. It tells a story of a boy and how he feels and what he does with his family to take his mind off the anxious procedure he will be having the next day.

About the Author

Rebecca Schultz is a mother of four children and is married to her high school sweetheart of thirteen years. She has been writing books for children to encourage confidence and build their self-esteem. She is extremely honored to write for sick children and help them in any way that she can and feels she reaches her audience by captivating these emotions that a lot of children experience through fear and anxiety before upcoming surgeries, procedures, hospitalizations, and doctor visits.
