About the Book

The writing of poetry is often considered to be a cathartic experience, and I think this is most certainly the case with the majority of the fifty poems that make up this first edition. These are poems written from the heart, with passion, and above all, with a refreshing honesty. They perfectly convey the sentiment of their four themes: loss, hope, love, and life. The poems are accessible; they are works that any feeling, thinking human being can understand and also empathise with.

About the Author

Hello reader/readers, I’m Leonard, and this is my first book of poetry. It’s based upon my experiences and of those around me as I have perceived them throughout my life. It begins by dealing with the emotions of loss and then how from this we’re able to move on to finding hope again and finding and feeling love again and the joys and problems this can bring in equal measure. Finally, I tell a few tales of life and talk of my beliefs and philosophise a little about it all, something which I hope you can easily associate with, understand, and appreciate. Happy reading!
