About the Author
A former schoolteacher, Susie received her B.S. and Master's degree in Education from the University of Alabama. Her love for children and art led to her to pursue writing children's books. Susie and Jackie live on a cattle farm in Epes, Alabama. They also raise Quarter Horses and spend much of their time riding, which they both love. Susie and Jackie share a love for nature, animals, music, and other hobbies such as swimming, water skiing, cooking, and art. They enjoy just about anything they can do together and of course reading!
