Penny Rice has empowered individuals to reach their fullest potential by helping them break the patterns of addictive behaviors and helping them make positive behavioral changes. Penny is a master’s level addiction therapist who specializes in codependency counseling, grief/loss issues, and DBT therapy and is certified in procovery. Penny has a passion for this type of work, and she believes in the power of change and healing. She has volunteered with First Call, previously National Council on Alcohol and Drug Dependence, for twelve years, teaching coping skills to children growing up in an addictive family. Penny is employed as a Therapist at a local Behavioral Health Program. Penny is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Penny is married and they have two children. The family attends a local church in their community. Proceeds from the book will go to EOFC (Empowerment Organization for Change), a nonprofit organization, to help individuals develop their fullest potential.
