About the Book

Eleven stories and poems about her family, pets, and friends--all told through the window of her imagination from ages three to six. Sometimes Emma feels too old for what she yearns for and sometimes she is told she is too young. Her imagination helps her practice the roles she wants to play.

About the Author

Sandy and her husband Herb Brubaker live in Rockville Md. They have four wonderful children and 14 incredible grandchildren. Sandy recently retired from a 50-year nursing career She often worked with children. Sandy says growing children are like astronauts landing on a strange planet. Their unjaded observations, courage, curiosity, sense of fun and adventure inspire me every day She hopes that some of that spirit is captured here. Tara graduated from University of Dayton with BFA in visual communication design.She has been working as an exhibit graphic disigner for past two years,helping design museums across the globe.She also continues to practice oil painting regularly.
