About the Book

When it began to appear that this book would become a reality, several folks suggested I needed to write a foreword. Something about the author. Hmmmm. One of the most difficult things for me to write about is myself. Nevertheless, I came up with the following: The author of these short stories is a seventy-three-year-old retired electrical supervisor. He’s happily married, most of the time, as much as any of you other married folks.

About the Author

I have never written any type of book. Surely, to anyone who has ever read a book, that is painfully obvious. But I am told that around sixty-five thousand words is an average book. Of course, this is not an average book. It’s a bit different, and I hope it’s entertaining to most who take their valuable time to read it. If it brought a few chuckles, that’s what I hope for. Now notice if you will, Earnie is still a pup. There is much to come as these particular snippets ended in 1997. If there is any profit from this book, half of it or more will be donated to Golden Retriever Rescue. Bless you people who take your time and money to rescue dogs who are abused or just not wanted. So hey, if you like it, I will carry on to volume 2 sometime soon. There is some really funny stuff in there!
