MY BIRTHDAY PONY is a very enjoyable book that shows the love a little girl shows for a pony she gets for her birthday. Most children probably want a pony at one time or another in their life. Kaitlyn is a very lucky girl. Kaitlyn learns that it is important to obey what her parents say to get what she wants a little easier. The point is brought up so children's good behavior is reinforced. Lola shows the love the little girl shows her new pony and how it seems that the pony loves Kaitlyn right back. She shows that an animal needs to be taken care of and fed to ensure their good health. I am sure you will enjoy reading this book and look forward to more like this in the future.

About the Author

Lola May Groves was born in Dickinson, North Dakota where she lived on a dairy farm They didn't have horses. Secretly, Lola wanted a pony of her own but never got one. She loves most animals and will be writing about some others that are her favorites. She had rabbits, sheep, pigs, cows and chicken that she helped take care of when she was a little girl. Lola remembers feeding baby calves and baby lambs with a bottle It was such fun to watch them devour a bottle of milk in a couple of minutes. The little lambs would run after me wanting more milk. It is fun to write about animals because they are cute and full of energy. Look forward to the publication of more books about animals in the near future.
