Communications and Ethics: The chapter consist of providing the basic concepts of communication that include types, barriers to communication, and how to perform communication in special situations. It also provided details of breaking bad news and dealing with conflict situations. These is followed by practical examples which are commonly encountered in medical practice and in clinical examinations. 2. History Taking: The chapter starts with the basic components of history taking and the ares where students stumble when practicing this skill. This is followed by details of how to master history taking which is well illustrated by practical examples especially those appear in clinical examinations at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. 3. Physical examination: This contains detailed practical information and hints on how to perform physical examination of different systems of the body. It also provides real examples of the clinical findings in each system in simple and tabulated form. Moreover, It discusses the ways to perform appropriate physical examination when taking board examinations. This chapter is well illustrated using sketches and clinical photos. This book offers the best chances for medical students and doctors to improve their skills that will greatly help them to pass their examinations and, also, to practice good medicine.
