About the Book

What is in Watch and Pray: Volume 1? It critically lays out end-time baits and weapons employed by the enemy and his cohort to send millions to hell. The baits and weapons include the ever-growing Jezebel spirits, secret sins, spiritual blindness and intimidation, strongholds, prayerlessness, apostasy, and worldly desires (1 John 2:16). Today, the deception is so deep that it becomes difficult to discern the right from almost right (discernment). Satan and his demons have transformed themselves into wolves among the sheep in the church and everywhere and preying on them. Greater part of it examines spiritual weapons and strategies at believers’ disposal. They include spiritual weapons and strategies to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked, such as prayers, quiet times with the Father, discernment, godliness, holiness, righteousness, the blood of Jesus, obedience, watchfulness, boldness, courage, and the sustainable presence of the Lord. The kingdom of darkness is getting bolder as we approach end times, so Christians must get bolder by drawing near to God in order to resist the enemy. The flight to heaven does not come cheap but requires due diligence in prayers and watchfulness (Eph. 5:15–16). Readers and believers must put on the whole armor of God by crucifying the flesh and be able to come to a place where they can look to God and say “And so what?” to the enemy and his team. Enjoy in your suffering because it glorifies God in the end. It is my hope that everyone who reads this book will be saved and come to know him well. This booking is telling us that Satan’s deception is deepening as we enter into end times. Satan and his demons have transformed themselves into wolves in churches and everywhere preying the sheep of the Lord’s vineyard. He comes to us in camouflage to steal, kill, and destroy and do not become his victims. We have to walk circumspectly and not as fools in the presence of Satan’s world (Eph. 5:15–16). Many remain carnal and blinded to the devil’s tricks and are paying with their bodies and lives. This book is revealing all the spiritual tools and strategies to wrestle against the enemy and his team. To be able to withstand this clever enemy and his team, we need to draw near to the Father through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. It is a winnable fight, but we need to discover the enemy and his team first and dismantle the strongholds with the blood of the lamb, the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit. Professor Kofi Amoateng is the founder and pastor of Fuller Life Ministries in Durham, North Carolina, since 2001. He is the preacher of preachers because of his long-term teaching and research experiences in the university environment. Dr. Kofi Amoateng is a professor of finance at the School of Business at North Carolina Central University. Moreover, he is a visiting professor at the GIMPA School of Business, teaching investment management and international finance. Kofi is a Google scholar for his paper jointly published with Professor Ben Amoako-Adu.
