About the Book

This book is a collection of poems about everyday life. There are poems for those that are hopelessly in love. There are poems for those who are dealing with grief and the loss of a loved one. Some of the poems are about being triumphant in the midst of trouble. Though every poem in this book tells its own story, they all have a common goal. Each poem is aimed to inspire, motivate, and caress the mind and heart of the reader. I believe that God gives everyone a gift. Some are blessed with the gift of music. Some are blessed with the gift of creating beautiful canvases. As for my gift, he gave me poetry. —Cigi Paige, author

About the Author

Cigi Paige is a licensed nurse who began writing poetry at a young age. She always kept a notebook and pencil ready to record her many thoughts. She would write poems as a means for all her thoughts and feeling to escape. Cigi never thought to share her poems with anyone. It was not until the death of her brother that she decided to share her poems. Her gift of poetry became known to many after her poem “If You Only Knew” was recited at her brother’s funeral. Since then, she has been requested to recite poetry at funerals, weddings, and other gatherings.
