Its Free to Be Nice

About the Book

The book is inspired by my own experiences. Sometimes in school, we are not so nice to one another. The book teaches everyone to be the bigger person. Lots of things that makes us happy cost us, but things like opening a door, smiling at a stranger, or picking up trash brings just as much joy and happiness and it’s free. It’s free to be nice. Try it. Your life will be so much happier.

About the Author

Andrew was born and raised in Prince Georges County, Maryland. Andrew is a 5th grade Elementary Honor Roll Student. To his knowledge Andrew doesn’t know of anyone his age in Prince Georges County that wrote and published a book to inspire other children. This is one reason why Andrew decided to make history and write a book. Andrew hopes his book will inspire many children around the world to “Be Nice”. Andrews making of history does not end here. On March 9, 2016. Andrew became the first 10 year old to testify in Maryland on a bill sponsored by Senator C. Anthony Muse advocating for a change in law for a shared parenting bill in front of a Senate Committee at the Annapolis Maryland House of Delegates. Andrew was also the first person EVER to receive a round of applause following his testimony/speech. Andrew has a dream that “One Day ALL children will have a meaningful loving relationship with BOTH their parents” just like him. April 2016 Andrew became the first Youth to received the Metro Distinguished Men Award in Prince Georges County. Andrew is inspired by and spends time watching youtube videos by Roman Atwood who inspires people to smile more. Today Andrew inspires all people to be nice to each other no matter how difficult it may be. Besides “ITS FREE TO BE NICE”
