Free Mind

About the Book

Free Mind, my second book of poetry, is a mature version of myself. I combine the deeply descriptive language of natural scenery with my truth. I am an adolescent bubbling with hope in this flawed world. So, readers, don’t look at my age, label me, and push me down; my writing is something of significance.

About the Author

Israa Khandker, an aspiring author, is twelve years old. Her first book, Hope and Courage, a collection of inspirational poems, is a success story. She is an avid reader and writer and contributes her poems to the school newspaper. She writes poems, short stories, and songs and is especially interested in creating comic strips. She is deft in artwork and takes an interest in all kinds of literary works. At present, she is working on a multiperspective fictional story.
