About the Author

Garland Kennington has been writing, reciting, and performing cowboy poetry since 1998. He likes to share his poetry with friends, family, and wherever cowboy poets gather. He has also been featured on the radio several times both locally and nationally. His work has been published in several anthologies and in the book Wyoming Cowboy Poets. Garland lives in Riverton, Wyoming, with his wife, Julia. They have five children, nineteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
