About the Book

“PENELOPE’S PRESENT” is a continuing tale of “ Penelope, The Purple Porpoise” and the gift that her sea creature friends created and made for her in appreciation for her friendship and fun loving antics.

About the Author

Alan’s hobbies were cruising around Vancouver Island and the adjacent waters with his family and friends. He loved writing, carving, fishing, managing our sons’ swim team and camping. He had lived in three countries due to his job, starting in Canada, then on to the United States and Great Britain and back to Canada. We resided in Sherwood Park, Alberta where he succumbed to his cancer. He has two sons, Christopher and Barry and wife Kay of nearly 60 years. He wrote these stories for his nephew and two nieces while cruising the waters around Vancouver Island.
