About the Book

This collection delves into the life of a poet who has survived several episodes of mental illness in the form of mania and depression. The author hopes to help others going through similar circumstances. The poems are a narrative of survival. One may start out with everything nice all stirred in, but in the end, you become unstirred when all the turmoil messes you up. That’s the narrative of these poems.

About the Author

Donella M. Dornwell began writing at an early age in middle school. She received the Quill and Scroll Award for writing in 1991. She has had poetry published in poetry anthologies like Di-Verse-City for the Austin International Poetry Festival. She has a previous poetry collection called Answer to My Ellipsis published in 2014. She is a new resident of Montana.
