About the Book
I have always believed that God has a special purpose for animals. During my lifetime, I have had several Pet Kids, but the three that will forever remain in my memory are Kelly, Max and Rudi.
The First Part of my book introduces these three and represents some occurrences as they actually happened. The human characters are based on persons I have known in the past; however, my portrayal of them is my own creation as well as many activities of the ‘Pet Kids’.
The Second and Third Parts of my book bring to life other people that exist only in my imagination, but I feel as though I know them personally. They are wonderful and their Pet Kids are extraordinary.
I hope you agree and if you are Pet Parents, or if you are not, that you will relate to my sentiments expressed in The Pet Kids and God.
About the Author
Marian Richeson is a first-time book author although she has written many Gospel songs and poems, and her music has been incorporated in church productions at Christmas and Easter. She has performed her own songs many times. She accepted Jesus as her personal Savior years ago, but her physical disabilities and her intermittent illnesses prevented her from proceeding with her passion, writing Christian books about animals and God. Now, at the age of seventy-seven, she has decided to put pen and paper in hand and introduce those to Jesus in a very special way who may not know Him, and delight others who do. Her animals are unique, funny, smart, and their ability to ‘talk to each other’ just might bring one to the charming conclusion that maybe, just maybe her perspective could be the right one. So, the next time you see your ‘Pet Kids’ close together as though communicating with each other, perhaps they are.
