About the Author

Heidi Beard was born and raised in South Dakota. After her commitment to the United States Air Force was complete, she earned a Bachelor’s degree from Tarleton State University. As a first-time mom, she struggled to find out why her toddler was so sick. She wrote this book in hopes of educating others and lessen the fears they may be experiencing. Heidi currently resides in Texas with her husband Brian, bonus-son Garrett and Nicholas.
