About the Book

God-Given: Poems to Worship the Lord and Inspire Faith in Others is a small collection of poems written over a period of approximately two years. They all express various aspects of the Christian faith, and each poem is accompanied by an appropriate scripture reference. They are grouped together as they relate to daily Christian living, giving encouragement during challenging times, special occasions, sharing your faith as well as praise and worship. The poems in this book could not have been written were it not for the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and are meant to bring honor and glory to Almighty God.

About the Author

Laura Mc Intyre-Peters is a young woman from Trinidad and Tobago. She is married, has a one-year-old son, and works as a dietitian. She is a born-again Christian, who grew up in the church and was baptized at the age of eleven. Laura holds a certificate in Bible and theology from the West Indies School of Theology and deeply desires to serve the Lord. Over the years, she functioned in the choir, ushering, and in dance ministries, and she currently serves as a Sunday school and children’s church teacher. Laura’s most important life goals are to fulfill the will of God in her life and to please him.
