The Final Four

In the middle of their singing Ben Ezra's eyes suddenly grew bright. "Look at the window!" he shouted."Is the world still on fire?" All eyes turned to the small upper window. The small tarp that covered it seemed to be blazing. Al Bashir tore off the the tarp to reveal a clear, extremely bright sky. Louisa placed Al Bashir's prayer shawl over Ana Maria's shoulders protectively. As the group stood in amazement they all saw a human figure approach with a warm smile and extended arms calling out, "Will you join the rest of my family and enter into my joy?" "Oh yes, Jesus!" Ana Maria exclaimed. All four began running arm in arm along the bright path that opened before them. Gone were all thoughts of hunger and thirst, of pain and darkness. Gone were thoughts of living in a cramped shelter. As they ran to Jesus they seemed to melt into him one by one, and with each one the brightness surrounding them inrcease. A grand chorus of angels echoed through the glorious brightness, "Amen! Amen! Amen! (chapter 9)
