While living in Parramatta I was engaged in brief employment under an initive called the 'red scheme'. It was designed as a three month program run by Parramatta counsil. Once it ended I was out of a job because I was out of a work, my mother threw me out of home. I was 17 at the time. I had no where to go & no one to turn to.

This book is the biggest inspiration to make you never want to give up. The advice Steve always gave his daughter while she was growing up is to remember that no matter how hard she believes her life is, there is someone else out there that is doing much worse and that’s what kept him going all those years, and along his journey, he helped many people.
About the Author
Steve Clarke is a man who has lived a horror story, he grew up with a mother who was extremely mentally & physically abusive. The things he has lived through in his life, no one should have to experience, which is why he is writing this book, he believes that while everything he endured was horrific, if his knowledge after everything he went through can help people having a rough time then he hopes writing this will help.
