The three partners played havoc with two large cartels outside Bogota. The narcos lost all confrontations while their plantations and building burned. Two years later the cartels’ new owners learned the three notorious men lived in the U.S.A. This time they spared no expense. They hired mercenaries known for brutal murders to go after the three partners. They did go after them and almost won.

About the Author

Homer A. Taylor wrote stories in the seventh grade just to hear his English teacher read them in class. This was in a small community of dry land cotton farmers in west Texas where the main topics of life were sand storms and endless droughts. His first published story resulted after the ground caved under his horse while working cattle near the Pecos River Valley in New Mexico. Another published story came after a friend in Colorado was attacked by a black bear. His first novel based on a people smuggler picking up a van load of illegal immigrants on the border near San Luis, Rio Colorado, Sonora, Mexico. A four-year old girl was left behind in the desert. The little girl was immediately found by a U. S. Border Patrol agent, who cared for her until the mother escaped from the smuggler near Amarillo, Texas. She walked and hitched rides back to Yuma where she was reunited with her baby many days later. Taylor worked as a cowboy following school, then worked as a federal park ranger, the U.S. Border Patrol and retired from U. S. Customs. He wrote a compilation of short stories while riding the Mexico border for the U.S. Customs Horse Patrol. Since retiring, he penned the Cody Hunter series of novels. This is the fourth novel in the series.
