About the Book

This book is my personal token of appreciation to my Savior, who, in the opinion of many of my friends, bestowed the gift of verse upon me at the moment of my conversion. The book contains over one hundred poems based on my own Christian beliefs and values. I hope you can identify with some of the verses I have written. I thank you in advance for taking the time to read the book, and I hope it will offer you as much enjoyment in the reading as I encountered in the writing. God Bless.

About the Author

On the 19th February, in the Year Of Our Lord 2017. I raised my hand at a church service help at Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle Belfast. On that day my life saw enrichment I never believed possible. My character was that of a completely new person. Whereas I had minimal ambition, I had been given an eagerness to welcome the gift of each new day. Another 24 hours to savour the blessings he showered upon me. Did my life become less stressful?…..Not in the least, but I had been given the strength to deal with, and overcome with every situation I encountered. Where there was hate, now there was love, Where there was anger, now there dwelt peace, Where revenge festered, now was forgiveness. These traits would never have manifested in me had I not found my Saviour. But Better was yet to come. On the 9th August in the same year, I had, by far, the best experience of my life when I walked through the Waters Of Baptism and experienced the Joy Of Rebirth. The poems in this book are but a small token of thanks to the one who gave me Renewal, to the friends who encouraged me to record them and to the Holy Ghost, who supplied me with the missing words, when needed, to complete each poem. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them, and I pray that the Lord will come to you, as he came to me, when I needed him most……...Bobbie Greer.
