About the Author

After years of fielding questions from children in public places, this mother/son team decided to explain how a little dog can help a big person. Lori was a Special Education Teacher until Parkinson's Disease interfered with her instructional abilities. She is the author of "Processing Parkinson's, Parenting, and the Past." David is a Senior Art Director with a healthcare advertising firm. He has a BFA in Graphic Design and Photography. He may not be a service dog, but he knows how to help his mom ;)
