Writing and reading this book is about how one person as a child, growing up sees so much that’s stays with in her, all those feelings and memories that won’t fade and now as an adult it affects how she may live or see things in life. How hard now as a mother it can be to move forward because of obstacles standing in the way. Suffering along her kids to keep pushing in life even if her hope and faith has faded away. How lonely life can get and not having the support or guidance.

Alma Joana a new writer to this book “The Pain Behind A Smile” A young mother to two beautiful girls that push me to be the best I can be. Never thought in a million years that I would have written a book. Having to go through a rough time in my life. Making me to go out of my comfort zone to finally scream out what was trapped in my chest. Life is like making a book because you go through chapters in life so making this book is like I’m finally lifting all the weight of my shoulders I’m ready to turn the page and the chapter to a better future for me and my daughters.
