My Yard

About the Book

Arjun talks about the time he spends in his yard, and the things he does with his parents and friends in his backyard. He learns about life, death and play. At his tender age, he is curious about the world around him. He is eager to share with the readers and other kids what he learns being outside in his yard - the things he observes, the life (plants and animals) that lives and grows, and he also tries to make sense of what death means. He is also expressing the coziness he feels with his parents.

About the Author

Swathi is a first-time author. While Swathi always loved penning down her thoughts; this book is inspired by her preschooler and his everyday life. She is Scientist/Chemist by profession. Swathi is originally from India but she lives with her husband and her five-year-old boy, Arjun, in Concord, Massachusetts.
