The Butterfly Dance The purple butterfly lands on a pink flower. It’s wings waving candescently in the sun.... As a little girl watches, the butterfly dance for hours. Day after day, she silently watches the butterfly dance. She notices the graceful movements and pirouettes. She now mimics the butterfly, and she herself begins to prance. Spinning round and round, gracefully moving her hands and arms. Her dark curly locks, flowing in the breeze. Mastering her techniques, until fluid and with ease. For years in the meadow, she performed her butterfly dance. It was her secret with her friends as they took flight. They would audition their dance until night. Her mother then caught Her one day. She watched her as she gracefully, moved and swayed. In awe, she was at loss for words to say. She grabbed her mother’s hand, while taking her stance.
