Pam Young is my name I have been a teacher in College in the UK for many years. I moved to Tennessee to retire. NO WAY! I have owned a Professional Cleaning Company for 11 years now. Great idea to have this book to educate both adults and children in differences in Siuthrtn style lingo and British lingo!

What a wonderful way to teach children that even though we may be from different places in this world, we all share communication in one form or an other. Words and names may be different, but the meanings are mostly the same, and all we have to do is share that difference to understand each other. How fun you made it, is to share the difference in the way we talk in slang or pronunciation. Y’all come on down and sit a spell with us here in Tennessee and we’ll cook you up some southern hospitality, as well good vittles. Great book Pamalamadingdong! The illustrations are perfect for this age group. Good job!

Such a fun read. The English kids will learn and the TN children from one another as well as the parents and teachers. A fun storyline and colorful illustrations. So cute!

I learnt a lot from this child's book Myself about the differences in expressions from here in the Southern states and the Englishisms! Good book for teachers, parents, adults and grandparents too.
