Myrtle writes that she had always wanted to write her diary so that it could be put in book form. So this book is finally written to inspire people that they can overcome hardships of life and physical disabilities. I had to go through deep waters, tears and disappointments to live alone with God. Even though I am old and deaf I have the best neighbors and friends. Most of my old friends have passed on. I am just waiting for summons of my Lord; I know that I am ready to meet God. God has watched over me all these long years. He has dried all my tears and put a song in my heart. I sing and whistle like I did years ago and still I dream. I am sure if I'd have the education, I could have written wonderful things.

About the Book
I was always curious about the diaries of granny. The family told stories that were passed down generation to generation but the actual diaries in hand will tell the true story of her life. She had faith in God that sustained her through her hardship in life. She lived through historical events that will encourage others to stand firm in their beliefs. Her deafness was no obstacle to her as she wrote the diary books. I hope the readers will be enlightened as they read this book.
