The 32 poems in this book were written to inspire men, both young and old, to develop an interest in reading through poetry. The author has written poems and displayed illustrations, about real sport heroes. There are motivational messages and sport philosophy talk related to everyday life. Each poem is a true story as seen through the eyes of the author. A very entertaining book that will make the reader feel good and ask for more.

About the Author

My name is George Criner Green, I was born in Waco, Texas to the parents of Andrew Green and Florine Criner Green. After graduating from A.J. Moore High School in Waco, Tx, I attended Bishop College in Dallas, Tx, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology. Entering college, my first choice was a major in Music with aspirations of becoming a composer. I later changed my major studies from music to sociology. I discovered that I enjoyed writing poetry more than music. The poems that I write emphasizes my feelings and imagination of true events in my life, places I have been and people that have made an impression on my life.
