About the Author

Sumi Anirudhan is an Indian-Australian nurse specialized in aging. She lives near Hallett Cove beach in Adelaide with her husband Aju Raghavan , their 3 daughters and little cat Echo.

Working with the elderly has given her a great deal of knowledge and understanding by listening to stories of many of their life experiences before coming to her care.

Looking back through their memories, she finds the complexity of her own life with ease. This gave her the courage to go ahead and explore the darkness and beauty of her thoughts as she searched for her own true self.

“Finding Myself where I never thought I would find Me” is her debut collection of poems and thoughts.
